Before the sale, gather information about the properties up for sale, visit those which interest you, consult the brochure for prices and prepare your finances.
On the day of the sale, deposit a returnable cheque with a notaire (or lawyer) which will be credited on sale and in exchange for this you will receive authorisation to bid and a badge. You can then during the course of the auction make bids. Movements make the bids.
If you are the final and highest bidder, you win the bid.
After the sale, you have 45 days to raise the amount bided along with the fees and transfer costs. In the meantime , during the 10 days following the auction a higher bid could be made on the property.
The handover of the property takes place when the sale has been completed.
